Voters approve $64K for Danielson firefighters to get new protective gear

Voters approved $64,000 for the Danielson Fire Department to purchase new protective gear following a public hearing Wednesday evening. The money will pay for 15 sets of protective gear, according to Fire Chief Keven McNeill. He expects the new equipment to be ready around or before Thanksgiving. Once it arrives, McNeill said the department can lift a modified operations directive currently in place. “We’re moving in the right direction.
