One dog dead after heavy house fire in Orange on Friday
One dog is dead after a house fire in Orange late Friday night. At around 11:07 p.m. the Orange fire department was dispatched to Mapledale Road for a reported building fire. Upon arrival, firefighters saw visible flames from the rear of the home. Crews immediately entered the house to extinguish the fire and search for the family dog. They encountered heavy flames in the attic space and within the vaulted ceiling.
