Bridgeport police investigate attempted home invasion
The Bridgeport police department is continuing to investigate after an attempted home invasion on Friday. At around 10:30 p.m., police responded to Butler Avenue after a report of two masked suspects attempting to break into a side window of a house. The suspects then jumped over a fence to get onto the property. After being scared off, the suspects fired gunshots at people who were outside on the street and then ran to a car. No one was injured.
